Michael Kellogg

OTTUMWA – Former Ottumwan Michael L. Kellogg, 29, died at 6:42 a.m. Oct. 6, 1990, at University Hospital in Iowa City following a kidney transplant.

He was born Jan. 29, 1961, in Iowa City to Jack L. and Delores [sic] Margaret Johns Kellogg.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Delores and Robert Dowd of Ottumwa; his father and stepmother, Jack and Rose Kellogg of Des Moines; two sisters, Diane Vonk of Oskaloosa and Fatmah Sheikhoon of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; two halfsisters, Doris Post of Roma, Kan. and Roberta Flack of Ottumwa; and a halfbrother, Robert Dowd Jr. of Ottumwa.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, the Rev. Ed Parker of Suburban Heights Baptist Church in Fairfield officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 today.
