Sharon Hollenback TamBurina, 71, of Aliso Viejo, Calif., passed away Thursday morning, May 12, 2011, after a long courageous battle with cancer, with her family by her side. Born Dec. 16, 1939 in Sayre, Pa., she was the daughter of Veronica Mahoney Hollenback and the late Harold E. Hollenback. Sharon was a graduate of St. Agnes High School Class of 1957. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Tommy) Barr of Irvine, Calif.; two sons David (Karen) of Grisham, Oregon and Michael TamBurina of San Francisco, Calif.; five grandchildren, Ryan, McKenzie, Taylor, Michael, and Vinnie; her mother, Veronica Hollenback of East Towanda, Pa.; sisters, Charmaine (David) Stempel of North Towanda and Theresa Chila of Avalon, N.J.; brothers, William (Linda) and Thomas Hollenback of East Towanda; sister-in-law, Sheryn Hollenback of Towanda; former sister-in-law, Lois Hollenback of Long Beach, Calif.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her father; she was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Gary, and Stephen Hollenback. Memorial services are being held in California.
