He was a printer by trade. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Hagerstown, Fort Cumberland Post American Legion No 13, and Owls Nest No 1162 of Cumberland.
He is survived by a son, Charles W Adams 2nd, Jacksonville, Fla; daughter, Mrs. Paul Roberson, Jacksonville, Fla; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. George A Gravatt, Hagerstown; Mrs. Frederick Stottlemyer, Baltimore. He was the brother of the late Franklin D Adams of Baltimore.
Services Wednesday at 1 pm at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel with Rev Wilbur S Hogevoll and Rev Robert L Regenold officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
