Nancy died Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at her home.
She was born Nov. 20, 1946, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Merrill and Arlene Boock Jacobsen. She married Ronald E. Peacock Nov. 19, 1966, in St. Stephen's Church, Clinton.
Nancy retired in 2002 as a patient finance specialist from Genesis Medical Center, Davenport. Nancy enjoyed travelling. Her true joy was being with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Ron; daughters and son-in-law, Kimberly and Joseph Kinzig, West Lafayette, Ind., and Kathy Peacock, Park View; stepson and daughter-in-law, Greg and Karen Peacock, Sherrard; grandchildren, Shawn Peacock, Abigail and Jackson Kinzig, and Nicholas Peacock; sister, Sandra Jacobsen, LeClaire; and brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Beth Jacobsen, Richmond, Va., Steve and Sue Jacobsen, Davenport, and Dennis Jacobsen, Davenport. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kristina; grandson, Jacob Peacock; and a brother, Merrill "Bud" Jacobsen.
