Paula R. King died at her home on August 6, 2015, comfortable and at peace, surrounded by love. Paula was born in Loving, Texas on May 15 1928 to the late Robert and Flora Edwards of Wichita Falls, Texas. Paula enjoyed 26 years of living all over the world with her military husband, and the love of her life, Carl L. King, Jr. (Mickie). Paula and Mickie loved square dancing and making the most out of every day following 23 years of working in Civil Engineering at Sheppard AFB, Paula retired to enjoy her many hobbies and club activities in Iowa Park. An avid reader with a quick wit, Paula was sweet, kind, generous and a wonderful mother. Paula will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Paula was predeceased by her husband Mickie, her father and mother, Robert and Flora Edwards, sister Lois Briley and son-in-law, Bill Egan.

Paula is survived by her brother Robert L. Edwards, Jr. and wife, Connie; a daughter Shirlee Egan; three sons and daughters-in-law, Carl and Beverly; Stanley and Karolyn; James and Lissa; by eight grandchildren, Matthew, Elizabeth, Shannon, Jason, Brian, Jonathan, Sarah, Robert and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park, Texas.
