John Drake was born April 23, 1860 in Clinton County, PA to George Washington Drake and Nancy McCleary.

1910 Lima, Allen, Ohio, John Drake 60, a boarder, a Pipeline Electrician.

John died on Sept. 11, 1926 at Croydon, Warren County, PA. He was 63 years old, single, and a Standard Oil Co Laborer. John was taken home for his burial.
NOTE: His obituary list burial at Robbins Cemetery, and the cemetery books list him at North Bend Cemetery with two of his sisters.

Former Resident of Westport Died at Corydon, PA.
John Drake, of Corydon, Warren Co., Pa., formerly of Westport, died Saturday, September 11, at Corydon of a complication of diseases. He was aged 63 years and is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Austin Kepler of Westport; Mrs. Elizabeth Edgecombe, of Costella, Pa.; Mrs. Deborah McClintock, of Corydon, Pa.; Mrs. Nancy Goodley, of Buffalo, N.Y. and Mrs. Jane Eisenhower of Bitumen, Pa.; also by two brothers, George W. Drake, of Fort Wayne, Michigan, and William Drake, of North Bend.
The body was brought to Westport Sunday afternoon on train No. 570. The funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon at the home of his sister, Mrs. Austin Kepler, the Rev. Dr. G. F. Boggs of the Renovo Methodist church officiating. Burial will be made in the Robbins cemetery at Westport.

Funeral of John Drake Held At Westport Yesterday.
The funeral of the late John Drake, of Corydon, Pa., took place yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home of his sister, Mrs. Austin Kepler at Westport. The services were conducted by the Rev. Dr. G. F. Boggs pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church of Renovo. Burial was made in the Robbins’ cemetery at Westport.
