Funeral services for Mr. Edgar Wayne Turner, age 60, of Toxey, AL, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 9, 2015, at Brightwater Methodist Church in Brightwater, AL, with Reverend Jimmy Moore officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Brightwater Cemetery in Brightwater, AL.
Mr. Turner passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015, in Mendenhall, MS.
He is survived by two sons, Shannon Turner of OK, and Kelly Todd of MS; one daughter, Diane Partain of Mobile, AL; two sisters, Vickie Gibson (Gerald) of Butler, AL, and Pat Davidson of Toxey, AL; three grandchildren, Jarrett Howell, Kiersten Howell, and Zack Todd; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edgar “Babe” Turner and Exar “Mother” Wilson Turner, and two brothers, Jeffrey Turner and McArthur Turner.
Serving as pallbearers are Timmy Glosson, Michael Gibson, James Boykin, Tracy Skelton, Lamar Jimmerson, and Billy Wilson. Honorary pallbearers include Johnny Boykin, Chip Gibson, and many friends.
