Interment will be at Starr Cemetery in Canton.
She passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015, in Point, TX.
Clara was born November 18, 1922, in Grand Saline to John and Cora King.
She grew up in Grand Saline and moved to Point with her late husband in 1969. Clara enjoyed fishing, gardening and family. After her husband's passing, Clara served as an elder at Freebridge Baptist Church. She was a very faithful woman with a witty sense of humor who loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Clara is survived by multiple Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, W.C. Hewitt; Son, Charles Hewitt; Son, Carroll Lynn Hewitt; Son, Billy Hewitt and 10 Brother & Sisters.
