She was born April 5, 1969, in Marshall, MI.
She was a lifetime area resident. Leah was a 1987 graduate of NorthWood High School. She was a cabinet maker at Yoder Kitchen in Nappanee. She attended Community Church of Waterford in Goshen.
Surviving Leah are her mother and father, Karen Sue (Hepler) and Rex M. Forrest of Nappanee; sons Joshua Allen Richmond of Milford and Kole Forrest Adams of Syracuse; daughter Danielle Sue (Dustin) Casteel of Nappanee; grandchildren Chance, Camiah, Ceara and Mackenzie Richmond and Keaton, Natalie Casteel and Karter Adams; sisters Angela M. Salazar of Goshen, Pebbles Unsicker of Bremen and Tammy (Cory) Germann of Ocala, FL.; and grandparents Jack and Esther Forrest of Sebring, FL. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Kim Huber.
Leah was cremated. There was a celebration of Leah’s life at 11:15 a.m. Aug. 15, 2015 at Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home in Nappanee. Family and friends called from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Pastor Mike Overpeck officiated.
Memorial contributions were given to the Leah Ann Adams memorial fund to help with medical and funeral expenses.
