Christine Julie "Christy" Atkins was born Aug. 25, 1967 in Boise, Idaho. She went to Heaven to be with the Lord on July 16, 2006.
Christy graduated from Borah High School in 1985. In 1986, she went to work for Pan Am and lived in New York until 1987. She lived in Florida, Utah and California before moving to Phoenix, Ariz. and later to Scottsdale, Ariz. Never more to roam Christy found her home, she loved Arizona. Christy also loved the Lord. He was her best friend through her life´s journey. She shared her belief in Jesus as her Savior to all she knew; it was her hope everyone she met would accept Christ. Wherever Christy lived, she had a special person in her heart, her daughter Hollie, who she loved with all her soul. Christy was Michael's big sister and always looked after him when they were children. They supported each other through the good and bad times. Christy's uncle Mark and uncle David loved her very much and were a big part of her life when she was growing up. She made friends everywhere she lived and two of her lifelong friends, Julie and Tammy of Boise, were like sisters to Christy. We all love and miss you Christy and someday we will see you again. God will give you peace and happiness in your heart, soul, and mind. Christy leaves behind a daughter Hollie Rae Keller and son-in-law Jared Keller of Pocatello, Idaho., her mother Kricket Ogden and step-father Michael; her father Thomas Atkins and step-mother Bonnie, and her brother Michael Atkins all of Boise. She is also survived by seven uncles; Mark Kelchner, Dave Kelchner and Robert Kelchner of Boise, James Snapp of Nampa, Lynn Snapp of Boise, Tim Atkins of San Jose, Calif., Van Atkins of Las Vegas, Nev., her aunt, Terry Oliver of Meridian, her grandmother, Martha Lee, her grandfather, Phillip Atkins and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
