ARCHIE PARKER
Archie Parker, age 29, living at 708 South Eleventh street, died this afternoon at 1 o'clock after an illness of about a month. Funeral arrangements have not been made.

FUNERALS
The funeral of Archie Parker, age 29, who died Saturday at 1 o'clock at the home at 708 South Eleventh street, after several months' illness from cancer, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Christian church with Rev. W. H. Baker in charge of the service. Interment will be made at Southmound.
Mr. Parker was born at Constantine, Mich., July 1, 1888. He moved with his parents to South Bend, Ind., in early childhood. On December 16, 1908, he was married to Daisy D. Parker of that place. They continued to make South Bend their home until coming to Newcastle two years ago. During his stay here his pleasing personality has won him many friends. He was a highly esteemed employe of the Maxwell and a member of the W.O.W. lodge of South Bend. He was also a member of the Christian church and president of the Young Men's Bible class. He is survived by the widow and a daughter, Delema, aged 7, one sister, Mrs. John McFarland of Cleveland, O., and one brother, George W., who is in the U.S. Navy and at present on the high seas.
