He married JanAl Oster, together they had three children and they were later divorced. He married Marolyn Mclendon on July 2, 2009.
Ted enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with his family. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Socks and the Dallas Cowboys.
He retired from American Linen Supply Company where he worked as a route driver.
Ted is survived by his wife, Marolyn; his children, Amy (Brent) Barney, Todd (Julie) Thomas, Tara Thomas, Mac (Heather) Taylor, and Joshua (Becky) Taylor; grandchildren, Kyler, Brinlee, Tyler, Trey, Trevyn, Aiden, Hudson, Dylan, Bowen, Brennan, Darien, Alexis, and Chase; sisters, Verla (Doug) Standley, Chris (Ray) Wright; three nephews and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Willis B., and three granddaughters.
Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Ogden.
