Christopher Shawn “Bondo” Mills, 41, of Beckley, devoted father to Shannah and Skyler Mills, died in a motorcycle accident Saturday, August 1, 2015.
He was born November 3, 1973 in Beckley, WV to Kenneth Mills and Debbie Bailey-Mills.
Shawn loved his children dearly, and lived his last years for them. He treasured his parents, and spent most every day in their yard working on cars and building motorcycles. He also enjoyed taking a long ride with his friends. He was a hard worker and very talented with his hands. He was faithful and helped care for his neighbors and friends.
Shawn is preceded in death by his grandparents Albert L. Mills (1914-1983) and Garnet Jean McKinney-Mills (1919-2004), and his grandfather David James Bailey (Deceased).
In addition to his parents, Shawn is survived by his wife, Hayley Calhoun-Mills, children Shannah and Skyler Mills and their mother Tanya Sturgill-Mills, stepson, Jonathan Calhoun, sisters, Robin Odle (Mike) of Evans, GA; Crystal Adkins (Jeremiah) of Pineville, WV, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Services to celebrate the life of Shawn will be held Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
