Bonnie Kay Efird Manning, 71 years of age, of Concord, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis .

Bonnie was born January 1, 1944 in Cabarrus County to the late Bonner Efird and the late Pauline Efird. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ray Efird.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Sunday, August 9, 2015, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Monday, August 10 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Steve Davis. Burial will follow at the West Concord Cemetery.

Bonnie was a dog show photographer and was the owner and operator of Bonnie Gray Dog Show Photography.

Survivors include husband, Vernard Gene Manning of Concord; son, Loye Efird and wife, Donna of Concord; daughter, Kimberly Totten; stepdaughter, Debra Furr; grandchildren, Justin Efird, Kaitlyn Crisco, Justin Crisco and Jason Furr; great-grandchild, Hunter Michael Crisco, brother, Paul Efird; nephew, Blair Efird, Jr. and special friends, Rhonda and Brittany Craigo.
