Kristi Ann Walker
July 12, 1956 - August 1, 2015

Kristi Ann Walker, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a tireless nurturer to countless babies and families, left this earth to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven on Friday, August 1, 2015.

Her passion for life, her love for her family, and her deep religious faith made her a bright light of inspiration and intelligence that touched all of our hearts. She inspired her friends and family with her lifelong sacrifices, her tireless efforts to help and comfort others, and her forgiving love. Her full heart made this world a brighter and beautiful place. Her wisdom made sense of our chaotic lives. Her touch gave us the strength to take one more step, inspired us to do more for others in need, and challenged us to live up to her Christian example.

The lives we build for ourselves and for each other will be her legacy. She lives in our love, in our actions, and in our determination to improve God's world as she improved it, each in our humble but important ways. We will remember her in our hearts and in our faith, as she awaits our time, when she will greet us in Heaven with a warm embrace, proud of what we accomplished for her, for God, and for each other.

She is survived by her mother, Peggi Ellen Lincoln, husband Jeffrey Taylor Walker, daughter Lisa Anderson, sister Pamela Berger (Roger), niece Sarah Cruce (John), and granddaughters Isabella Nicole Anderson and Olivia Wyn Maxey. She is further survived by David Lincoln, Carolyn Lincoln Jenkins (Dean), Alfred (Teresa) Lincoln, and Nancy Lincoln Blanchard (Steve). She is preceded in death by her sister Janet Stein.

A memorial service will be held at Woodland Baptist Church on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 1 p.m. Kristi will be interred at the Willowhole Cemetery near College Station, TX.
