Daniel W. Mack was born on September 3, 1960, in Moline, Illinois, the son of Kenneth and Norma (Craven) Mack. On September 28, 2008, Dan was united in marriage to Anna Gallaher in Breckenridge, Colorado. Dan was a 1978 graduate of Moline High School and continued his education at Black Hawk College in the Culinary Arts program. He served his country in the United States Air Force for four years with honorable discharge. Dan worked as a material handler for the Rock Island Arsenal. After his retirement he opened Under The Bed Antiques. The antique store will remain open as a legacy to Dan. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking, and antiquing.
Dan will be deeply missed by his wife, Anna Mack of Muscatine; his children, Ryan Mack and Emily Mack, both of Moline; step-son, Benjamin (fiancé Jennifer Neff) Bekel of Davenport; two brothers, Dale Mack and Jim (Marie) Mack, both of Moline; sister-in-law, Barbara Mack of Florida; two nephews, Justin Mack of Florida and Shawn Mack of Moline; and his father-in-law, Thomas Gallaher.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jeffrey Mack.
