MANKATO - Funeral services for Arnold C. "Arnie" Groskreutz, 88, of Mankato, formerly of Wells, will be at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wells. Interment will be in First Lutheran Cemetery, Waldorf. Military honors will be accorded by the Wells Color Guard.
Groskreutz died Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.
Arnold "Arnie" Groskreutz was born April 11, 1927, in Waseca County, the son of August and Wilhelmina (Schwarz) Groskreutz. He entered the U.S. Navy in 1945 and served during World War II. He was awarded the World War II Victory Medal and received an honorable discharge in 1946.
Survivors include: his son, Jeff Groskreutz of Pemberton; two grandchildren; and two brothers, Milton Groskreutz of Mankato and Ruben Groskreutz of Waldorf.
