He was born on Aug. 29, 1928, at home in Orion Township, Wis., the son of Carl and Lorena Lettman. Glen grew up on the family farm helping as needed with farm duties.
In August of 1947, Glen met and married Henrietta Adams.
In the next three to four years he worked on farms in the Viroqua-Five Points. In 1952, his family moved to Lone Rock where Roland was born.
Glen worked for approximately five years at the Badger Army Ammunition Plant for the war effort.
Glen began working at Wingra Stone in 1956, retiring after 35 years of service of which he was extremely proud!
Glen married Lucille Weihert on Feb. 6, 1974, in Madison.
In his younger years Glen enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and especially enjoyed working his team of horses, "Lum and Abner". After retirement he enjoyed gardening, landscaping and helping neighbors with anything they needed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Lorena (Pauls) Lettman; son, Robert Lettman; brother, Harold Lettman; and brother-in-law, Harold Miller.
Family and friends are invited to Glen's celebration of life which will be held at GUNDERSON FITCHBURG FUNERAL HOME, 2950 Chapel Valley Road, Fitchburg, at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, Aug.10, 2015, followed by fellowship. Inurnment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
