Son of Nickolas Pakulak and Rose Pemkowski; husband of Hazel (deceased).

Surrounded by family at the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital, Peter dearly beloved partner of Karen, dearly loved son of Rose Pakulak.

Peter was predeceased by his father Nick; wife Hazel and infant daughter Michelle. Peter is survived by his sons Cory and Darcy; grandchildren Jessica, Brandy, Colby and Aiden; as well as his sister Rosemarie; nieces Angela, Andrea and families. He will also be missed by Steven, Heidi, Christy and families.

Peter was born in Gimli and lived most of his life in Winnipeg Beach where he ran his own body shop. He also worked at various jobs including MPI, Trans Canada Pipeline, M J Garage and Lake Winnipeg Boat Works.

A special time in his life was the six months his granddaughter Brandy lived with her papa.

If Peter wasn't working on a project in the garage he could often be found helping Cory and Darcy. During his life Peter enjoyed trapping, curling, camping, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed gardening and every spring searched the pastures for morel mushrooms.

Thanks to all the doctors and nurses who looked after Peter, especially everyone who gave Peter such excellent care at the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital. Thanks to Jessica, Brandy and Rachel for their cards and art work for papa.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 4 at 2:30 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Gimli. Service will terminate at the chapel.

A private family interment will take place at a later date in the Winnipeg Beach Cemetery.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
