age 16, of Sugar Land, TX, passed away July 10, 2006. She was born on August 14, 1989 in Lufkin, TX to James Terry Glover and Carolyn Sue Smith. Ashton attended Clements High School, where she would have been a Senior 2006 - 2007. She was an FFA officer at Clements and had a steer named Lonestar. Ashton was a member of First Colony Church of Christ in Sugar Land. She was a very devout Christian who lived dancing in God's light and now she will be eternally living in His light. Ashton lived life to the very fullest while on this earth. Ashton was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Thomas William Smith. She is survived by her loving parents, Carolyn "Sue" Smith; her father, James Terry Glover; her step-father, Mark Stokes of Sugar Land; her step-mother, Laura Glover of Diboll; her sisters, Terica Glover of Sugar Land and Emily Glover of Diboll; her brothers, Shane, Chase, Blake and Quin, all of CA; her grandparents, Lloyd and Jean Johnson of Mt. Enterprise and James and Christine Glover of Diboll; and other numerous loving relatives and close friends. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5 until 10 PM on Friday, July 14, 2006 in The Chapel of The Settegast-Kopf Co. at Sugar Creek (Williams Trace exit). A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at First Colony Church of Christ, 2140 First Colony Blvd., Sugar Land, TX, with Ronnie Norman, Senior Minister, officiating. Ashton will be laid to rest next to her grandfather in the Jim English Cemetery, Kennard, TX.
