Annette grew up in Storm Lake, graduating from Storm Lake High School in 1982. Annette continued her education at the University of Iowa where she graduated in 2013 with a Master’s Degree in social work. She also was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
Annette was united in marriage to William Jordan III.
Annette worked as a child therapist. She was involved with C.A.S.A., Centers Against Abuse & Sexual, and also the “Out of the Darkness” suicide walk. In her spare time, she loved going to garage sales and working on home improvement projects.
Most of all, family was extremely important to Annette. She cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a strong and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend the many.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, William Jordan III of Storm Lake, Iowa; children: Krystal S. (Jason) Page; Brandyn L. (Amanda) Phillips; Nicholas W. (Maria) Phillips; Lucas D. Phillips; Danielle Jordan; Denishia Jordan; fourteen grandchildren; brothers: Tony (Sue) Nielsen of Storm Lake, Iowa; Steve Nielsen of Storm Lake, Iowa; sister, Barbara (Randy) Frahm of Columbia, Missouri; extended family and friends.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Sylvia Nielsen; and nephew, David Sonnichsen.
