Micki was born on June 28, 1940 in New Your, New York the daughter of Walter E. and Julia M. (Grahm) Greenwood. She moved with her family to Hollywood, Florida where she attended the Hollywood High School. She later returned to New York where she married Paul J. Carroll on September 23, 1967 in White Plains, New York. The family made their home in Independence, Iowa.
Micki was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul in 1997, a son; Michael in 2011, two sisters; June Muldoon and Dona Therrien, and two brothers; Walter and James Greenwood.
