Barbara Caroline Wiggins, 80, of Springfield, died Monday, Aug. 3, 2015, at St. John's Hospital.
Barbara was born Nov. 5, 1934, in Geneseo, Ill., the daughter of Bernard and Bernice Opalka Verscha. She married David K. Wiggins on July 19, 1958 in Galva, Ill.
She worked as a Registered Nurse for St. John's Hospital retiring in 1991 after 37 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
She is survived by her husband, David; three children: Denise, Robert and Mary ; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Butch and several nieces and nephews.
