Today 10/2/2017 I went to the vital records here in Spokane County, WA to get a death certificate of this infant. She died just like her younger sister with Bronchial Pneumonia. However, her death certificate states she is buried in Palouse, Whitman Co. WA, which according to Greenwood Memorial Terrace Cemetery she is not buried there. I have been told many times that where people are buried is not always the right place, so this is just another example of a failure to communicate properly I guess. I have however made contact with Greenwood Memorial Terrace Cemetery here in Spokane and they assured me that she is there. Marie's DC does not have a birth date on her certificate. They do say that she was 9 months and 13 days old. Both children lived with their parents on 117 W. Rich Ave. Spokane, WA. Marie lived with this for 7 days when she finally passed on from it. Both parents probably changed their minds about burying Marie at the family plot in Palouse, WA as it is quite the drive from Spokane to Palouse. So knowing how I would feel about being so far away I would want to have my child nearer to me than that.
