Audie Joe Condred Crocker, 69, a longtime teacher at Johnson Elementary School in Montrose, died June 26, 2015, of complications from prostate cancer.
Born Aug. 22, 1945, in Picayune, Miss., to Clifford Daniel Crocker and Olive Hettie Lee Crocker, Audie was predeceased by his son, James. Audie is survived by five siblings in California, Mississippi and Texas; son, Clifford Joseph (Lindsay) and sons, Jackson and Jude, of Denver, Colo.; and grandchildren, Spenser and Sigrun, of Fort Collins, Colo.
A celebration of life in memory of Audie Joe “Max” Crocker will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 2 at Mount Vernon Event Center, 17173 Mount Vernon Road, Golden, Colo., 80401. All are welcome.
