She graduated from Eaton Rapids High School in 1987 and received a bachelor’s degree from Davenport College in 1993.
Kim was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Greater Lansing Association of Realtors. She was a founding member of Small Blessings Child Care Center at the church, and a realtor with Ross and Associates for the past 15 years. Kim was an avid reader, and a proud swimming and soccer mom.
She was this year’s recipient of the Eaton Rapids Realtor of the Year Award.
Kim is survived by her husband, Matt Cooper; daughters, Whittney and Nitasha Cooper both of Eaton Rapids; parents, Duane (Connie) Ross of Eaton Rapids, Susan Fernald of Narrow lake; brother, Brian (Peggy) Ross of Eaton Rapids; step-sisters, Andrea Glynn, Carrie (Scott) Twichell, Rhonda Bodell; step-brother, Jon Fernald; grandfather, Robert (Barbara) Hayhoe; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur and Berneda Ross and Donna Hayhoe.
Funeral services were Friday August 7, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church, with Pastor Marty DeBow officiating. Interment followed at Oakwood cemetery.
