Lillian F. (Myers) Hicks, age 87 of Alliance passed away at 8:26 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2015, at Salem Regional Hospital. She was born February 15, 1928 in East Rochester, Ohio, to John and Sylvia (Shivley) Myers. A graduate of Alliance High School, Lillian loved taking care of her family and passing the time working in her flower garden. Survivors include her children, Valerie (Dennis) Knoedler of Damascus and James (Joyce) Hicks of Louisville; grandchildren, Michael (Tiffany) Hicks of Massillon, Paula Hicks of Jackson Township and Lindsey Knoedler of Winston-Salem, NC; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Hicks; and siblings, Grace Smith of Sebring, and Rella Ramsey and John (Hilda) Myers, both of Alliance. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry, whom she married in January of 1948 and who passed away November 7, 1970; and sisters, Thelma Smith and Wilda Royer.

Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
