SPRING GROVE - Myrtle M. (Street) McCoury, 93, of Spring Grove died at 7:35 a.m. Wednesday at The Brethren Home Community in New Oxford. She was the wife of the late Emmet D. McCoury.

The service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Spring Creek Baptist Church in Bakersville, N.C. Burial will be in Roselawn Memory Gardens in Johnson City, Tenn. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Sauter-Irwin Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, and 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the church.

Mrs. McCoury was born Nov. 3, 1907, in Buladean, N.C. She was the daughter of the late Calvin and Rosie (Bennet) Street.

She worked at Pfaltzgraff Co.'s Thomasville plant for seven years. She was a member of West Side Baptist Church in Thomasville.

Officiating at the service will be her nephew, the Rev. Robert McCourry, pastor of Spring Creek Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Brethren Home Community Good Samaritan Fund, P.O. Box 128, New Oxford 17350.
