LeGrand, Joseph H. Jeff fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the age of 64. Beloved son of the late Clarence and Alma LeGrand (nee Schwartz); our dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin, godfather and faithful and cherished friend to many; life partner and best friend of Lou Smith. Jeff was admired for his generosity. To that end, he unselfishly donated his body to St. Louis University School of Medicine. Services: A memorial mass will be celebrated at a future date. In Jeff's memory, contributions may be made to the Five Acres Animal Shelter, 1099 Pralle Ln, St. Charles, MO 63303 or the Family Center-Eastside Heart and Home, 705 Summit Ave, East St. Louis, IL 62201.
