Roy L. Watts, age 88, of Hobart, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015. He was born on July 17, 1927 in Crown Point, IN. He was a member of the Hobart American Legion Post #54 and the 40&8. Roy proudly served his country as a Corporal in the United States Army Air Corps. He is survived by his son: Roy J. Watts; daughter: Phyllis J. Romano; grandchildren: Christina Cook, Jeanna Romano, Tiffany (Ryan) Nobles, Jennifer Watts, Jessica Watts; great grandchildren: Ashley, Jamie, Zachary, Emma, Marisa, Karys, Collin, Lauren and one on the way; step brother: Frank Lezack. He was preceded in death by his wife: Josephine Watts in 2002. He will be laid to rest at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, IN.
