Ricky was my slightly older second cousin. We only met a few times. I recall he wanted to be a bodybuilder, and was quite bulked up. He joined the Air Force, but died when he went to California for basic training. The car he was driving went through a guard rail, down an embankment, and hit a tree. It took firefighters several hours to remove his body from what was left of the car. His passenger escaped with no injuries.
