Funeral Service for Ms. Jo Ann Griffin, 55 of Decatur will be noon, Wednesday at Reynolds Funeral Home with the Reverend Ivan Pride officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Garden of Memory. Public viewing will be Tuesday from 11-7 at the funeral home.

Jo Ann, the daughter of Hence Griffin and Minnie Lee Bynum Griffin was born April 4, 1960 in Lawrence County, Alabama. She entered into eternal life on August 1, 2015 at Huntsville Hospital.

She confessed her faith in Christ at an early age. She was a homemaker and loved her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her sisters, Elizabeth Griffin and Alice Griffin; and brother, Terry Griffin.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Derrick and Eric Griffin both of Decatur; two daughters, Teyaka Smiley Thomas (Samuel) of Huntsville and Jakhala Griffin of Decatur; her parents, Hence and Minnie Lee Griffin of Decatur; a devoted friend, Calvin Sharpley of Huntsville; two sisters, Brenda Griffin of Decatur and Cassandra Gibson of Huntsville; five grandchildren, Grant Griffin, JaKhaun, JaQueiz, Jakeise and Jaonna Smiley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be nephews and cousins.
