Mrs. Bertha M. Snyder Heffelfinger, 85, of Northampton R.D. 1, near Beersville, a native of East Bangor, died yesterday at her home.

Mrs. Heffelfinger was the wife of Benjamin D. Heffelfinger. She was a daughter of the late Marshall and Liza Stem Snyder. She resided at Northampton R.D. 1 for 46 years.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ wing of Emmanuel Union Church, Petersville.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Ada Williams, of Allentown; Mrs. Earl Kromer, Northampton, and Miss Myrtle Heffelfinger, Bath; a son, Eugene M., Mount Arlington, NJ; a stepsister, Mrs. Miriam Valentie, Nazareth R.D. 1; 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton.
