She was the daughter of Andreas Moser and Catharina Wurstin.

She was baptized in a Lutheran church on 21 Mar 1834 in Murrhardt, Rems-Murr Kreis, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany.

In Feb 1855, Marie Heinrike ("Heinrike" is German for "Henriette") F Moser applied for permission to emigrate to America in Backnang, Wurrtemberg, Germany.

As of 01 May 1856, according to her Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Marriage Record, she was still living in Backnang, Wurrtemberg, Germany.

On 16 May 1856, she arrived from LeHavre, France in New York Port, on the ship, "Consul". Her name appeared as "Henriette Moser," three lines below the name of her future husband, "John Carl Foell". The ship's manifest listed her age as 22 years and his as 30. Both were single.

On 09 Feb 1857, she and John Carl were married at Saint Michael's and Zion Lutheran Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Their first four children were baptized in the same church: Anna Maria Catharina; Maria (Mary) Carolina; Johann Karl (John Carl Jr); and Albert Gottlieb. In all the German records (marriage and baptism), the family surname was written as, "Foll" with the German umlaut over the letter "o". This transcribes to "Foell" in English, which was the spelling of her future husband's name on the ship, "Consul".
Eventually, the "o" was dropped from the name, making it "Fell".

Their next three children were baptized at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: Martha Margaretha; Carolina (Caroline) Dorothea; and Lewis Friedrich.

On the German baptism records of her children, her name appeared as Maria or Marie; Heinericka, Henrike or Heinrich; and Moser, or "geb" Moser, which translates to "nee" Moser, indicating her maiden name. One record (Martha's) misspelled her maiden name as "Moxer".

On 24 Mar 1880, she was listed with her husband, along with a group of other community members, who established the Zion Evangelical Church (the present-day Evangelical United Methodist Church) of Clarksboro, Gloucester County, New Jersey.

According to the New Jersey Death and Burials Index, Mary H Fell died 10 Sep 1887, which coincides with the death date engraved on her tombstone.

Cause of Death: "debility"
