Bessie M. Musgrove, 98, of Sunnyslope Care Center and formerly of 213 S. Davis died at 7:05 p.m. Jan. 4, 1984, in Ottumwa Hospital.
She was born May 16, 1885, in Wapello County to William and Sarah Anderson Morgan. She was a member of First Church of the Open Bible and past president and state treasurer of the Women’s Relief Corp in Ottumwa. She married Willis C. Musgrove on Aug. 25, 1901, at Ottumwa. He died in 1965.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Carole A. Olson of Ottumwa and Bette Jo Hall-Beamer of Des Moines; and five great-grandchildren.
The service is pending at Johnson Funeral Chapel.
Visitation will be after 12 noon Friday.
