Sarah Frances Burkett
Mrs. Sarah Frances Burkett, 67, of Manns Choice RD 1, formerly of Altoona, died Monday. Nov. 7, 1994, at Memorial Hospital of Bedford County.
She was born Sept. 16, 1927, in Cumberland,Md., the daughter of John A. and Ida (Madden) Cavan.
She married Cletus Bud Burkett.
Mrs Burkett was a member of Manns Choice United Methodist Church.
She retired from Woolworth?s stores after 25 years of service in the Cumberland, Md., and Altoona stores.
Mrs. Burkett was a volunteer at Memorial Hospital of Bedford County and a member of Manns Choice Senior Citizens and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, Bedford.
Surviving are her husband, two sisters Mary E, McCormick of Cumberland and H. Jean Evans of Hyndman; and a brother, John E. of Winchester, Va.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman.

BURKETT--Services for Sarah Frances Burkett of Manns Choice RD 1 will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, by the Rev. Donald Henderson and the Rev. Ernie Pons.
Interment at Milligans Cove Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at
the funeral home.
Memorials may be sent to the Memorial Hospital of Bedford County, RD 1, Everett, Pa. 15537.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
