John C. O'Neill, on Aug 1, 2002 of Burlington Twp/Mt Laurel, NJ, age 79.
Mr. O'Neill was retired from Hercules Corp, Burlington and was a US Army Veteran of WWII. He was a member of St Paul's Catholic Church, Burlington. He was a life member and served many offices and committees through the years at the Beverly Rd Fire Co Sta 302 Burlington Twp and the Edgewater Park Elks Lodge 2550 where he was Tyler, a Trustee, Director of the Breakfasts and spaghetti dinners and a Charter Member of the Lodge. He was active with the Holly Acres Campground in Egg Harbor Twp, NJ. Also he coached baseball for the Burlington Twp Sports Club for many years.
Husband of the late Margaret (nee Darch) O'Neill, he is the father of John J. and wife Barbara of Marlton, Linda and Charles Arnold of Cherry Hill, Barbara Schoeber of Delran, Peggy and husband Bruce Chidsey of Mt Laurel. Also survived by a brother Robert O'Neill of Savannah, GA and sister Mary Kowalski of Boynton Beach, FL and his grandchildren: Gina, Shawn, Lisa, Christopher, and Kelly O'Neill; Christine Arnold, Kimberly Ehrlenbush, Kara Schoeber; and Meghan and Tara Chidsey; and great granddaughter Mackenzie Ehrlenbush.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am Tues at St Paul's Catholic Church, Burlington. Interment BGWCD Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. Friends may call Mon 6-9pm and Tues after 9:30am at the McGee Funeral Home, Burlington.
