Michele Anne (Krout) George passed surrounded by beloved family members.

She was t he daughter of John "Jack" and Ruth Krout, Michele spent her childhood in Gladstone where she attended All Saints Catholic School and graduated from Gladstone High School.

She attended Michigan State University and later graduated from Lamar University with a degree in education.

Michele married Larry George on June 14, 1969, in Lansing, Mich.

Michele raised her family in Bridge City, Texas, where she spent 23 years as an educator at Bridge City Jr. High School. Following her retirement from BCISD, she became the Director of Elementary Religious Education at St. Henry Catholic Church, where she taught religious education and also served on the parish board.

Those left to cherish her memory are: son, Michael and wife, Missy; granddaughters, Kathryn and Kara; daughter, Andrea Watkins and husband Jerome; grandsons, Jeromy, Jerrod and Matthew; and daughter, Ryann Dinger and husband Tim; grandchildren, Brynn, Mia and Logan; mother, Ruth Krout; sister, Joan Aue, brother, John (Nancy); sister, Barbara (Scott) DePree; and sister, Isabel (Mike), numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Michele was preceded in death by: the father of her children, Larry George; father, John Krout; and granddaughter, Meagan Watkins.

A funeral Mass was held. Internment of her ashes at Fernwood Cemetery.
