Thomas Cruikshank married Annie Margaret Gilmer. The family spent Christmas in Graham with Mrs. Cruikshank's mother, Mrs. I.T. Gilmer.

Mr. Cruikshank moved to Dallas, Texas in 1917. He was a charter member of Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church and had served as a deacon and church treasurer. He was a former secretary of the Dallas Real Estate Board and former member of the Dallas Executive Club. He was vice president of Metropolitan Savings and Loan in Dallas, Texas.

Survived by his wife; two sons - Tom Cruikshank and John Cruikshank; one sister - Mrs. James Mulhauser.
