Michael L. Kingrey, 62, passed away July 31, 2015. Visitation will be from 5:30-7:30 PM Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at Noon on Wednesday, August 5 at the funeral home with burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the American Stroke Foundation's Next Step Program, 5916 Dearborn, Mission, KS 66202. Mike was born in Springfield, MO and lived in the Kansas City area most of his life. He worked as a dispatcher for the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority for 38 years, retiring in 2012. Mike was an avid fisherman, hunter and Chiefs fan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Geneva Kingrey. Survivors include his wife Debbie KIngrey; daughter, Stephanie Kingrey; son and his fiance, Mike Kingrey and Melissa Long; 2 granddaughters, Hannah and Penelope.
