Betty Lou Harper

Age 91, of Vandalia, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Betty was born March 17, 1929 in Somerset, Kentucky to the late Carl & Martha Alexander. In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Wilbert G. Harper, who passed in 2015; and by six siblings, Charles & Paul Alexander, Marietta Bartholomew, Lois Warnock, Edna Wesley & Frances Harper.

Betty has been a member of the North Dayton Baptist Church for the past 60 years.

She is survived by two children, Gary Harper & his wife, Debbie and Karen Cupp & her husband, Jim; five grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2021, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral service will follow at 12 Noon with Chaplain Randy Reed officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Tipp City, Ohio.
