Mass for Louis A. Svatek, 77, of Fredericksburg, who died Monday at his residence, will be celebrated Wednesday at 4 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Patrick Morron officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Virgil services will be held tonight at 8 in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg. St. Joseph Society rosary will follow.
Mr. Svatek is survived by his wife, Annie Tupa Svatek; two sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Jerleen Svatek of Victoria and Larry and Kay Svatek of Fredericksburg; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Bill Zapalac of Austin; six brothers, Joe Svatek of Flatonia, Jim Svatek of Moulton, Charles Svatek of Fredericksburg, Tommy Svatek of Colmesniel, Tony Svatek of San Antonio and Adolph Svatek of Wharton; and six grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's School or Hill Country Memorial Hospital.
Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is in charge of arrangements.
