Kellogg, Idaho -- The funeral of Daniel J. Karst, 43, Pinehurst, who died of a heart seizure Wednesday while at work in the underground operations of the Bunker Hill Mine here, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday from Our Savior Lutheran Church, Pinehurst, with Pastor Robert Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery here under the direction of the Kellogg Chapel of Shoshone Funeral Services.
Karst was a native of Hoven, S.D., and was a veteran miner of the Bunker Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Ardis, an office employee of Bunker Hill: four sons, Denis, U.S. Army in Germany, and Kim, Richard and Terry, all at home; a daughter, Deanna, also at home; three brothers, including Ernest Karst, Kellogg; sister, Mrs. Roy Peterson, Pinehurst, and his mother, Mrs. Kate Karst, Pinehurst.
