Monica Janette Sneed, 22, student, of Batesville, formerly of Marks, died Sunday, June 11, 1995, of heart failure at Methodist Hospital in Memphis. She had a disease so rare that it has not yet made it into medical books.
Services were held on Tuesday, June 13, at North Batesville Baptist Church, where she was a member, at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Forrest Memorial Park there. Wells Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Miss Sneed was a student at Mississippi State University and a volunteer at Ronald McDonald House in Memphis.
She leaves her mother, Joyce Fortner Sneed, and her father, Tom L. Sneed, a brother, Lee Sneed of Batesville and her grandparents, Buck and Norma Jean Fortner of Lambert and Madge Sneed of Marks.
