William "Bill" Malaska, age 76, died January 14, 1997 in Clear Creek.

Born April 3, 1920 in Clear Creek, Utah, son of Mike and Susie Hakola Malaska. Lifelong resident of Clear Creek. Served US Marine Corps, 3rd Division during World War II. Retired member UMWA Local #6788, where he worked at Castle Gate and Valley Camp mines. He enjoyed hunting and fishing."Uncle Bill" will be dearly missed by his family and a community of dear friends.

Survived by two sisters, one brother and spouses, Elsie and Art VanWagenen, Price; Hulda Haugen, Anaconda, MT; Jack and Lorraine Malaska, Salt Lake City; also by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; three brothers, Sulo, Ano and Laurie; and sister, Pearl Burton.

Funeral services Saturday, January 18, 1997, 11 a.m., Mitchell Chapel, Price, where friends may call daily 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.. Family will be at Mitchell's one hour prior to services. Interment, Scofield, Utah Cemetery.
