Henry Alais Kirby
(JACKSONVILLE, Fla.) Services for Henry Alais Kirby, 66, of Jacksonville, Fla., were Sunday, April 26, 2009, at 3 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Edward Herren officiating.
Burial will follow at Taylor's Crossroads Church of Christ Cemetery, Roanoke.
Mr. Kirby died Wednesday, April 22, at Baptist Health Hospital in Jacksonville.
Survivors include three sisters, Ann Grabriel, Sylvia Mitchell and Merle Boyd, all of Roanoke; two brothers, Joe Kirby of Roanoke and Berle Kirby of Bay Minette.
Pallbearers were Ben Blackstone, David Mitchell, Matthew Mitchell, Marty Ivey, Wayne Edmondson and Bobby Boyd.
A Randolph County native, Mr. Kirby was born Aug. 30, 1942, son of Curtis Dewey and Katie Ferrell Kirby. He worked as a painter.
