67, of Louisville passed away peacefully on Friday, July 31, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born February 8, 1948 in Louisville a son of the late Francis "Frank" P. Klein, Sr. and Geneva C. Klausing.
Frank was an animal health sales representative for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals for 32 years until his retirement in 2006. After retirement he was the owner/operator of "Twice the Ice" vending machine company.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Bishop Spalding Council #2761 of Knights of Columbus. Frank was a founding member of his Wednesday afternoon golf league and an avid fan of thoroughbred horse racing. He was also active with the Bonnycastle Club, Nativity Academy and the Saint Xavier Basketball Team.
Frank will be remembered for his strong Catholic faith, his quick wit, and his devotion to his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Donna M. Klein; beloved sons, F. Peter Klein III (Ashely), Kevin J. Klein (Jessica) and Mark T. Klein (Sara); and his sister, Diane Schindler (Sam). His nine grandchildren, Frankie, Jak, Annie, Connor, Carter, Katherine, Kevin Jr., Cameron, and Collins will forever cherish his memory.
Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 501 Cherrywood Road with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday, August 3rd at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, "In St. Matthews."
