Mary Marie King, 89, left this world to join her beloved husband, Robert L. King in Heaven on Friday, July 31, 2015.
Mary was born on January 11, 1926 in Shelbyville, Tennessee the oldest of 10 children to the late James and Gladys Victory Coffey. She was an accomplished hairdresser in the Middle Georgia Area for several years and a longtime member of Southside Baptist Church. Mrs. King had a love for flowers, birds and she enjoyed painting in her spare time.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. King was preceded in death by her brothers, Joe, Herman, and Ray Coffey.
Visitation will be Monday, August 3, 2015, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with funeral services following at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Pastor Jerry Walls and Pastor Randall Nash will be officiating. Following the service, Mary will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
