Freida Davis died at the Twin Oaks Post Acute Care in Chico on Thursday, July 23, 2015. The second of seven children, She was born in Allen, Neb. to August and Hattie Hinnig on May 14, 1909.
She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran faith.
She is survived by her son, DeLloyd, of Minn.; daughters Evelyn Kuffel of Ariz. and Vivian Bentien of Willows; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Davis; two grand-daughters; and five brothers and sisters.
Graveside services are planned for 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13, at the Willows Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Lutheran Church of Willows or a favorite charity.
Arrangements are under the directions of F.D. Sweet and Son Mortuary, Willows.
