Of Plano, quietly passed away while surrounded by her family on July 30, 2015. She was six days shy of her 92nd birthday. She was born August 5, 1923, in Sandwich, Illinois, the eldest of seven children. Myrleen was the daughter of LaVerne “Skinny” Wallis and Emma Springer Wallis. She graduated from Plano High School in 1941. She married of Yorkville, on June 15, 1946, at the home of her parents. They were married for 69 years. Her parents, sisters Beverly Tuntland of Waterman and Margaretta Maier of Plano, three brothers-in-law, one nephew, and one niece preceded Mrs. Martner in death.
